He has managed to run a lot of music production software on it. So at the weekend we tried to install Entropia on the machine.

The dl went ok but during installation there was an error reported that appears to be linked to direct X. HAs anyone suceessfully installed EU in this manner.

The reason I ask is because most weekends I am away from my desktop but I always carry my mac as it is my everything computer except for playing EU. I would love to be able to log on my account using the mac when I am away from home. I am not particularly bothered if it runs in safe mode, it is more for not missing auction items or doing some crafting rather than hard core hunting Any help would be appreciated Unfortunately I do not know what the error message was and my friend has now deleted the install.
